Up-cycling!

Up-cycling is a new trend that is not only environment friendly but super fun! Up-cycling is where you take something old and change it to something new. The goal is to take discarded products and create a product of higher quality and value. It can be taking leather from an old bag and making it into a top or taking the leather and putting it onto a new bag. My favorite place to find up-cycled bags is Soulfully Rooted Boutique. They take leather from old designer bags and transfer them to bags with unique prints to create a stylish and fun bag. I also love to up-cycle my old clothes. I take an old pair of jeans and either cut them into shorts or take the fabric and sew it into a fun denim tank top! Up-cycling is a fun and creative way to transform the old to new! I recommend thinking about up-cycling your clothes the next time you are cleaning out your closet!
