Metronome digital clock is now programmed to count down the time we have left to reverse climate change before it is too late. For over 20 years it, Metronome, has been one of the most baffling public art projects and now it is giving us a timeline to save our Earth. Gan Golan and Andrew Boyd, the artists behind the clock, plan to have this clock running year round either there or somewhere else. They came up with the idea two years ago and their hard work is finally coming into fruition. For someone like me the clock makes me determined to be a part of the solution. It makes me realize that our Earth is literally counting on us and we need to make changes quickly. It starts with policy change from our government officials and with the election coming up voting has never been more crucial. If Trump were to be re-elected we are doomed. In the past 4 years that he has been president nothing regarding climate change has been put into motion. He removed us from the Paris Agreement and has damaged our environment even more. It is necessary that everyone eligible to vote does so. Our Earth is counting on us and needs us more than ever.
